Algarve Dreams

Youth Art for Nature

Project Mission:

To empower young people to dream, create, and protect nature — through art, gardens, and community collaboration.

Our goal is simple:

Empower Youth to Dream, Create, and Protect Nature
I’m an artist and designer who moved from California to Portugal to live full-time in beautiful the Algarve — a place I have grown to love deeply. Through Algarve Dreams: Youth Art for Nature, I am interested in working with teachers and school children helping the youth to express their hopes for the future through mural making, mosaics, gardening, and public art works— inspiring environmental stewardship and community pride. I invite local school teachers to participate in this creative collaboration, where you and your students will work with me to create beauty and inspire community pride for the Algarve.

I warmly invite you to participate in Algarve Dreams… Youth Art for Nature — a creative collaboration where you and your students can work with me to express their hopes for the future through painted murals, planting gardens, and creating public art, celebrating the beauty and pride of the Algarve.

Through painting, mosaics and planting, students will express their hopes for the future, celebrating the beauty, value, and reverence for the sea and surrounding lands. Together, we will learn how everything is connected —and how caring for nature helps all life, including ourselves.
